The Call to Ride

This book is written as a testimony of the life and call of David ‘PK’ Vanderklay into Christian ministry particularly but not exclusively to motorcyclists. He is a retired Police Officer and presently an Ordained Minister of the Gospel through EPIC Ministries Inc, Fulshear, TX. He is also an active member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. David has served in leadership capacity in his local Christian Motorcyclists Association Chapter in Florida and spent time in State Leadership of that organization as well. David’s experience as a Police Officer combined with his deep Christian faith has been a catalyst in his ministry. He has served as president of a Christian School Board, Elder in his church and has led several weekly Bible studies since coming into a personal relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 15, 1976. David is gifted at telling stories and through The Call to Ride desires to en- courage each of us to trust in the Lord, look for opportunities to share our faith, and finish the race set before us. Guided by the grace and presence of the Holy Spirit in his life, David’s desire is like that of Paul as we read of in Acts 20:24 “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me–the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.” (NIV)
